St Paul Street Gallery
St. Paul St is a suite of purpose built galleries and project spaces run by the School of Art and Design, Auckland University of Technology. The programme of exhibitions, screenings, performances and events profiles both emerging and established artists and designers from New Zealand and internationally. St. Paul St occupies Level 1 of the new Jasmax architects designed School of Art and Design building.
Parallel to a curated programme of 6-8 week long exhibitions in Gallery 1, St Paul ST runs shorter projects drawing on the School of Art and Design student and staff research interests including MA Thesis presentations, curatorial projects, screenings and performances in Gallery 2, the new media project space, window gallery and outdoor projection wall.
St. Paul St is staffed by a full-time Director/Curator Dr Leonhard Emmerling and supported by a team of Gallery Interns and Gallery Assistants.
