Govett-Brewster Art Gallery Artist in Residence programme
The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery runs an ongoing Artist in Residence programme, with the support of Creative New Zealand. In partnership with the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT), the Gallery hosts one New Zealand and one international artist in New Plymouth each year.
The 2007 Artists in Residence are Emil Goh and Francis Upritchard. Previous Artists in Residence since 2003 include David Hatcher and Gabriel Kuri, Saskia Leek, Lee Bul, Ann Shelton, Noboru Tsubaki, Mladen Bizumic and Sam Durant.
