    Auckland Art Fair

The Auckland Art Fair, New Zealand’s exclusive international art fair, is a showcase for some of Australasia’s best contemporary art. In 2007 thirty five leading galleries from all over New Zealand and Australia came together under one roof for three days (18 – 20 May) to feature their most prominent artists.

The 2007 Fair was more than twice the size of its inaugural event in 2005 and shifted to a larger and suitably industrial space at the Marine Events Centre on the Viaduct Harbour in the former Alinghi Boat sheds.

The event was opened by renowned British art critic, Matthew Collings, attracted 10,000 visitors and generated an estimated $3M in sales for the primary market.

For full list of participating galleries please visit the website.
