Telecom Prospect
Telecom Prospect: New Art New Zealand is a curated group show drawing on vital and compelling work made by New Zealand artists over the last three years. A subjective selection rather than a categorical survey, the 2007 exhibition was structured around three intersecting thematic clusters: contemporary abstraction; a reconfiguration of the everyday and augmented reality. Telecom Prospect: New Art New Zealand is the only recurring exhibition of this scale to focus solely on New Zealand practice. City Gallery Wellington is managed by the Wellington Museums Trust with major funding from Wellington City Council.
